- I have a large collection of templates that I would love to offer to my customers, can I do it?
Yes, you can!
- I
have several servers with lots of domains, so I would need to buy
SiteReptile license for each of those servers? Or just one SiteReptile
license, and all the domains can build a site, no matter what server
they are on?
You purchase only one SiteReptile license, it will be installed on your main server, but websites can be created on all of your servers
- I created a poll - but can't see where to add it?
You need to define it on subpage or on template using vote tag
- Is
it possible to my custommer to create their website in using this form
to their name : http://him.mycompany.com or is it obligatory to have a
name like: http://www.mysite.com
Websites can be built on subdomains as well as on domains
- If order a leased licence and then want to pay the owned licence, is possible?
Yes, you can upgrade at anytime
- Is it possible to present on our websites the demo of your application to our customers?
Yes, sure!
- I wanted to save some changes on my Demo website, but I see 'Not Allowed in Demo' message
Yes, saving changes is disabled Demo version, but only when you login as demo/demo, try to login with your original username/password
- Can my client install a website on a subdomain and then point his domain there?
Sure! Your client should use /upgrade.php tool instead /sitebuilder.php, then in the first step fill the form with his subdomain and continue, in step 2 he should select 'upgrade license' and in step 3 he will be able to add his domain.
- When I delete websites from the server how is this free allocation then credited to my 100 wesites?
You can remove unused licenses in your Admin Area
- How do I know whan I will need more websites?
You can track all installations in your Admin Area
- How do I know how many websites are in use by WebsiteBuilder
As above, you can track all installations in your Admin Area
- The data for each created website, where is it stored? What file is i use (for backup purposes)
All website data is stored on your client account, so when you backup his account, his website is backed up too
- Am I able to edit the templates that come with SiteReptile and save them with a new name?
Yes, sure!
- Is SiteReptile able to work with cPanel? Are users able to access it through their control panel?
SiteReptile works with cPanel and all other panels, however there is no SiteReptile icon in cPanel. your clients have to go to SiteReptile website on your website - example www.YourCompany.com/sitebuilder
- Can I enable the software only for certain of my hosting users or do I have to make it available to all users on my server?
You can allow it for all users o create "White List" if you want to allow only some of them to use SiteReptile.
- Do I need root access to install the software?
No, all you need is FTP account with domain/subdomain pointed there (example www.YourCompany.com/sitebuilder)
- Can a SiteReptile built site co-exist with other web pages on a user's web space? (For instance, could they "try out" SiteReptile on their site while they presently have a site already there?
SiteReptile always installs website on main folder, so all old files could be overwrited. We suggest to create another FTP account and use SiteReptile there. It can be easly done in cPanel under "FTP accounts" tab, FTP username would look similair to "FTPusername@domain.com"
- Do I get free updates to the product? If not, how much are the updates?
All updates are free, you get them lifetime.
- Am I able to extend the functionality of SiteReptile by adding my own PHP modules?
Yes, but all ready modules must be added by our developers.
- Does the site building portion work on all browsers (PC and Mac)?
Yes!
